Who is Bailey Tippen

Bailey Tippen is a singer, dancer, and emerging DJ. She is also pursuing her passion behind the camera with ambitions to produce and direct.

She started performing at the age of five, Tippen has always balanced artistry and advocacy. She volunteers with the Rise Awards, honoring students with Down Syndrome, and draws inspiration from industry icons including Viola Davis, Angelina Jolie, and Denzel Washington.

Beauty in Black Series 

Season one of “Beauty in Black” was continuously ranked among Netflix’s Top 10 shows and cemented itself as one of the platform’s breakout successes. Part 1 of the series, which premiered on October 24, 2023, debuted at #1 and quickly amassed over 8.7 million views, remaining in the Top 10 for consecutive weeks. Part 1 also held the coveted #1 spot across 28 countries.

Actress Bailey Tippen returns as Sylvie, a role that left viewers on edge at the end of Part 1 when her character’s kidnapping forced Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) into a dangerous confrontation. With Season 2, Tippen’s character remains at the heart of the suspense, promising fans an even more gripping continuation of the saga.

Netflix describes the series: “The new series follows two women on very different life trajectories on a collision course toward each other. Taylor Polidore Williams plays Kimmie, who struggles to make ends meet after her mother kicks her out, while Mallory — played by Crystle Stewart — finds success running her own business.
